It is easier said than done when it comes to being confident. The thing is when presenting people with large ticket items such as buying or selling a home the person themselves is usually not that confident. That is where we the real estate agent expert comes in to confidently guide our clients through the process.
In order to get past the first meeting and have the client choose to use you they must feel your confidence that you can help them. This starts with the agency disclosure, listing agreement, and soon the buyer agent agreement. How do you present your value and your services? Do you confidently answer any and all questions a seller or buyer may have? These are important questions to ask yourself.
So how do you become more confident? Some people might say confidence comes with time but confidence truly comes from knowledge. This does not mean you need to be doing deals to become confident. It means you must learn and hone your craft so given the opportunity you can display your value. Failing to prepare for these meetings and thinking experience will change things will leave you without any clients.
